Does your website call to action for visitors? If not your, visitors maybe just coming to read your material and leaving without chance at a sale or engagement.
What is a call to action? It simply is something designed to get a visitor to take some kind of action on your website. Maybe it’s to call you for a free quote, or get a free list of ideas or maybe it’s for a simple newsletter.
Why do you need this call to action? Without it you are spending a lot of time and effort driving visitors to your website and failing to make any kind of connection with your visitors. Maybe the visitor did not need your service at the point in time but what about a week, month or year later? How will the visitor remember your company out of the millions of other websites out there?
Setting yourself up for success:
- Make sure if you have a business phone number it is large and clearly visible on all pages.
- If your service requires quoting make sure you have a call to action or banner images clearly visible as high up on the page as possible.
- If your service is more knowledge based give away a little in a Ebook pdf download for free and collect those email addresses. If they liked your offering they may come back or want to know when you have new knowledge available.
- Make sure you have a contact form or other way for visitors to get in touch with you if your service may generate a lot of questions.
