Videos give you the chance to let your visitors get to know more about you. It also gives you a great chance to provide a lot of information in a small amount of time instead of trying to convey it with text.
Here are some ways videos can help your business:
Sometimes a visitor needs to be educated on your product or service, or on how you are different verses your competitor. If you provide useful information there is also a higher chance your video link will be shared with others and further exposing your brand. Be sure to include your business or website address somewhere in the video.
Do a video to showcase more about your business and team behind the scenes, this makes your business more personable and familiar to your visitors and they are more likely to buy from someone they feel familiar with than not.
Videos are also a great way to do brand testimonials by one of your current customers. Again visitors are more likely to buy if they feel they are getting some true and honest review of your product or service.
Here is just a short list of some of the more popular video options you can use:
- YouTube lets you upload videos made with a camera or webcam, make sure you create a “channel” for your brand so all your videos are in one place.
- Vine is a smartphone application that lets you take very short videos to publish and share socially.
- Google Hangouts lets you meet with people via webcam and record your session automatically to YouTube.
